Cirencester Philharmonia is a friendly, versatile orchestra playing a wide repertoire - from standard classical music to recent film scores.

We perform in Cirencester and the surrounding area.

The orchestra was founded over ten years ago in Ashton Keynes and has played many concerts over this time.

The conductor is Ian Higginson and the leader of the orchestra is Steve Jones.

There is a subscription of £15 per half year to cover the costs of the rehearsal venue and refreshments.  We expect to do one concert every 6 months with about 6 rehearsals leading up to each concert.

New members are always welcome, particularly string players.

Please note that, after the Open Rehearsal on Sunday, September 14th, 2008, new members will be invited to pass an audition in order to join the orchestra.
